CHEWY CHOCOLATE COOKIES 
1 1/4 c. softened butter
2 eggs
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. peanut butter chips or semi-sweet chocolate chips (opt.)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; gradually blend in. Stir in chips. Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake 8 to 9 minutes. Leave on pan until puffiness goes down then remove to finish cooling.
