ANNE THURSTON'S SNOW PUDDING 
1/2 c. lemon jello
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten

Dissolve jello in 1 cup boiling water; cool. When congealing has started, fold in egg whites. Serve with custard sauce.

SAUCE:

1 c. milk
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Put milk in saucepan. Cover and bring to boiling point. Reduce heat. Combine egg, sugar, salt, 1 1/4 cup milk, and add to scalded milk, stirring constantly. Cook, stirring constantly until coating forms on spoon. Remove from heat and cool. Add vanilla. Serve over your Snow Pudding.
