BRAN MUFFINS 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
4 eggs
5 tsp. baking soda
1 qt. buttermilk
3 c. Bran Buds
5 c. flour
2 c. 40% Bran Flakes
Raisins (optional)

Cream together butter and sugar and salt. Add 4 eggs and beat well. In a bowl dissolve baking soda and buttermilk.

In a separate large bowl combine flour with cereals and raisins. Add in butter mixture and buttermilk mixture and mix well.

Keep batter in a tightly sealed container. May be kept in refrigerator for 30 days. Bake muffins at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
