RUTH'S CHERRIES DELIGHT 
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. powdered sugar
1 c. cake flour

Cream butter and sugar. Add the flour. Bake in a 9 x 13 pan at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

TOPPING:

2 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. coconut
2 c. cherries, drained (not pie filling)

Add sugar slowly to beaten eggs. Mix in rest of ingredients. Pour over baked crust. Bake for 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Serve with whipped cream.
