GRANDMA CHAPUIS STUFFED CRABS 
1 stick butter
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. parsley
9 slices bread or crackers
1/2 lg. bell pepper, minced finely
Tabasco sauce
3 c. crab meat
Bread crumbs or crackers for topping
1 lg. onion, minced finely
2 stalks celery, minced finely
3 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper
1 c. milk
1 egg

Saute onion, celery, bell pepper, garlic, parsley and thyme in butter until transparent. Combine cubed bread with milk and mix well. Add egg, seasonings, crab meat and sauteed vegetables. Mix well. Fill clean crab shells. Sprinkle crumbs on top. Bake 45 minutes in 350 degree oven. Makes 15.
