GLAZED CARROTS WITH RAISINS 
1 lb. carrots, sliced
1 c. raisins
1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. salt

Cook carrots and raisins in small amount of water until almost tender. Drain. Add remaining ingredients. Heat slowly until butter melts. Cook 10 minutes stirring frequently until carrots are richly glazed. Makes 6 servings.
