1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. fresh mashed strawberries
1 pt. fresh strawberries (whole)

Cook first ingredients in saucepan until thickened. Put 1 pint of fresh strawberries in baked pie shell. Pour thickened mixture over berries. Serve with whipped cream. You also may use any fresh berries or peaches.
