STRAWBERRY GLAZE PIE 
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
1/4 c. strawberry flavored gelatin
3 c. strawberries, halved
1 baked 9 inch pastry shell
Whipped cream

Combine sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan; stir in water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and clear. Remove from heat, stir in gelatin. Cool. Place strawberries in cooled pastry shell. Pour glaze over berries. Refrigerate pie before serving. Top with whipped cream. Yield: one 9 inch pie.

NOTE: Sauce will reach a boil before it thickens.
