GERMAN CASSEROLE 
1 lg. onion
1 sm. green pepper
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 lb. sausage or 1 c. cooked ham
2 tsp. cumin seed
1/2 tsp. oregano
Dash pepper
1/2 c. tomato paste
3 bay leaves
2 tsp. salt
2 c. uncooked rice
5 or 6 c. chicken broth
1 de-boned chicken
1 sm. jar green olives and juice

Saute onion, green pepper, garlic and meat until tender. Add cumin seed, oregano, pepper, tomato paste, bay leaves, salt, uncooked rice, broth, chicken and green olives (whole) and their juice. Cover and cook 1/2 hour.
