ICE BOX MUFFINS 
2 c. boiling water
2 c. Nabisco 100% Bran
1 heaping c. Crisco
2 1/2 c. white sugar
4 beaten eggs
1 qt. buttermilk
5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
4 c. Kellogg's All Bran

Pour hot water over 100% Nabisco Bran. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, buttermilk and scalded bran. Sift flour, soda and salt. Add all at once with Kellogg's All Bran. Fold until ingredients are moistened. Put in jars in refrigerator. Bake in muffin tins for 20 minutes at 400 degrees. Will keep in the refrigerator at least 6 weeks.
