BRITT'S FAVORITE DESSERT 
1 c. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. oatmeal (quick kind)
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
1 jar butterscotch topping

Mix melted butter with flour, oatmeal, sugar, and nuts. Spread mixture on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes (stir after 10 minutes). Cool; crumble into 13 x 9 inch pan. Use only 1/2. Save other 1/2 for top. Spread over with ice cream; freeze for 10 minutes. Spread butterscotch topping over ice cream and sprinkle crumbs on top. Freeze at least 2 hours.
