SAUCY BEEF AND RICE 
1 1/2 lbs. lean beef, cut into 1" cubes
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 (11 oz.) can condensed cheese soup
3 c. hot cooked rice

Brown meat in butter. Add remaining ingredients except rice. Simmer, covered, about 1 1/2 hours or until meat is fork tender. Serve over beds of fluffy rice. Makes 6 servings.
