CHICKEN JUBILEE 
4 fryers, quarters
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. melted butter
1 c. water
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 (16 oz.) can pitted bing cherries, drained
1 c. sherry

Place chicken in shallow pan (skin side up). Season and dribble with butter. Brown under broiler. Combine remaining ingredients except wine and cherries. Mix thoroughly. Pour over chicken and cover entire pan with foil. Bake one hour at 325 degrees. Remove foil and add wine and cherries. Bake 15 minutes longer, basting.
