INDIAN FRY BREAD | |
2 c. self-rising flour 1/2 c. powdered milk 3/4 c. warm water 2 c. vegetable oil, approximately Mix flour and powdered milk. Add water. Stir to form dough. Knead dough on floured surface until soft, but not sticky. Divide dough into 8 balls. Flatten into very thin circles. Heat shortening in frying pan. Fry until light brown on one side and turn and fry on other side. Drain on paper towel. Dip in powdered or granulated sugar. |
