INDIAN FRY BREAD 
4 c. all-purpose flour
2 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. lard or vegetable shortening
1 c. warm water
Oil for deep frying
Honey

Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in lard until mixture is about the texture of cornmeal. Gradually add warm water, using only enough to make dough stick together.
