1 can pitted dark sweet cherries 2 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1 tbsp. butter 1 tbsp. lemon juice Vanilla ice cream Drain cherries, reserving syrup. In saucepan, dissolve sugar and cornstarch in reserved syrup. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick. Add cherries. Remove from heat. Add butter and lemon juice. Serve warm over ice cream. |
