2 c. flour 1/4 c. sugar 1 tbsp. salt 2 pkgs. rapid rise yeast 2 1/4 c. milk (hot - 110 degrees) 1/4 c. cooking oil 1 egg, beaten 4 - 5 c. flour Combine 2 cups flour, sugar, salt and yeast. Heat milk and oil. Add egg and liquid to flour mixture. Beat 3 minutes. Gradually add remaining flour to form soft dough. Let rise in warm place till double in size (45 to 60 minutes). Punch down and shape into rolls or bread loaf. Let rise until double (covered). Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes for bread, bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes for rolls. |
