KOLACHES 
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1 c. butter, soft
2 c. flour
2 c. apples, diced
3/4 tsp. cinnamon

Blend cream cheese, butter and flour like a pie crust. Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight. Roll out like a pie crust and cut in small squares.

Combine apples and cinnamon. Add a spoonful in each square and seal by using a fork. Place on cookie sheet and bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees.

FROSTING:

1 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. water
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Mix together and dribble over hot Kolache. Makes 10 or 12.
