HOMEMADE ICE CREAM 
4 lg. eggs
2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. good quality vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 qt. whipping cream
1 qt. milk
Dash f lemon juice

Beat eggs thoroughly; add sugar and beat about 3 minutes. Add vanilla, salt and cream. Mix well and pour into 1 gallon freezer container. Add milk last to within 2 1/2 inches from top of container. Use only coarse salt with ice for freezing. Makes 1 gallon.
