RED, WHITE AND BLUE SALAD | |
2 sm. raspberry Jello 1 envelope gelatin 1 c. cream (Half & Half) 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 (8 oz.) Philadelphia cream cheese 1 c. walnuts 1 can blueberries First Layer: dissolve 1 raspberry jello in 2 cups hot water and pour into glass bowl; allow to set. Second layer: dissolve gelatin in 1/2 cup water; heat cream and sugar but don't boil; mix into gelatin and add vanilla, cream cheese, and nuts (beating with mixer). Pour over 2nd layer. Third layer: dissolve second raspberry Jello in 1 cup hot water and stir, adding can of blueberries, juice included. Pour this over the second layer after it is set. This is most colorful in a glass bowl as it cannot be unmolded (the second layer will slide off). |
