4 1/2 lb. tomatoes, peeled 4 1/2 c. sugar 1 tbsp. broken cinnamon 1 1/2 c. vinegar 1/2 tsp. allspice 1 tsp. cloves Scald and peel tomatoes and then quarter them. Place in cooking pan and add sugar, vinegar, and spices. Cook slowly until thickened and put in jars. |
