NON-FAT SPICY VINAIGRETTE SALAD
DRESSING
 
1 bottle fat-free Italian dressing (8 oz.)
2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. red pepper flakes or Mrs. Dash
2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. minced garlic
2 tsp. basil
3 tbsp. Dijon mustard or other spicy mustard
1/2 c. Balsamic vinegar

Mix together. Makes 2 cups. Can be stored for weeks in refrigerator.

For pasta salad add: Fusilli's pasta, artichoke hearts, chick peas, red and green pepper, sliced broccoli flowerettes, carrots and sun dried tomatoes (not stored in oil but plumped in hot water per package directions). Toss with spicy vinaigrette to taste.
