OATMEAL BUNS 
1 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. shortening
1/4 c. molasses
1 tbsp. salt
1/3 c. sugar

Pour 2 cups boiling water over the above and let cool. To the above add: 2 packages dry yeast, 2 well beaten eggs with 1 cup flour added. Add 5 1/2 cups flour, more or less. Let rise once, form buns, let raise again. Bake.
