1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. eggs (1 or 2)
1/4 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour

Cream sugar, butter and salt. Mix in eggs. Then mix in milk and vanilla. Add flour. Roll dough and cut into any shape, great for all special holidays (Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine's). Bake at 375 degrees about 10 minutes until batter edges start to brown (this is a pale cookie).

Before baking, you can brush with an egg wash and sprinkle with candies or sprinkles and/or can frost when cool.
