“NORWEGIAN MACAROON COOKIES” IS IN:
NEXT RECIPE:  OATMEAL CHIP COOKIES

NORWEGIAN MACAROON COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
1 c. coconut
1 egg, beaten
1 3/4 c. oatmeal
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. butter, melted
1 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Melt butter. Beat in sugar and egg. Add coconut and nuts and all the dry ingredients. Shape into balls and press flat onto a cookie sheet.

Bake for 10-15 minutes. When cool, frost with melted white almond bark.

These are very good "crisp" cookies. Make them large for "coffee time" or small for holiday, special events.
