CREAM CHEESE FILLED COFFEE CAKE 
2 pkg. crescent rolls
2 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg, divided

Spread 1 package of crescent rolls in 9 x 13 pan. Cream together the cream cheese, sugar, 1 egg yolk and vanilla. Spread over rolls. Put other package of rolls on top. Beat egg whites and spread over rolls. Mix 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon and sprinkle over egg whites. Add nuts if desired. Bake 1/2 hour at 350 degrees.
