TEXAS CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
2 sticks butter
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa

In large bowl mix flour, sugar, salt, eggs, sour cream and baking soda. Meanwhile boil butter, water and cocoa. Add all at once to flour (while hot); cream well. Put in greased jelly roll sheet at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

TEXAS CAKE ICING:

1 box confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts, chopped
2 tsp. instant coffee
1 stick butter
6 tbsp. milk
4 tbsp. cocoa

Mix together sugar, vanilla and coffee. Boil butter, milk and cocoa; beat into sugar mixture. Add nuts last. Ice while hot.
