CORN BEEF DINNER 
Place a 3 pound corned beef brisket in a Dutch oven. Barely cover with hot water.

Add: 2 sm. bay leaves 2 sm. cloves garlic, minced

Cover and simmer 3-4 hours until tender.

When meat is tender, remove and place on platter. Add 6 medium potatoes, cut in fourths, longwise. 6 small carrots, cut in fourths. Cook 10 minutes. Take head of cabbage and cut into 6 wedges and cook 20 minutes. When done, set meat back on top. Turn off and let set until ready to eat.
