CHERRY DESSERT 
1 c. flour
1 stick butter
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
2 c. Dream Whip
1 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 can Comstock cherry pie filling

Mix flour and butter as you would for pie crust. Spread over bottom of 9x13x3-inch pan. Spread nuts over crust and bake 20 minutes or until golden brown at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and cool. Cream the 1 cup sugar with 8 ounces cream cheese; fold in Dream Whip and spread over the crust. Add cherry pie filling and chill for several hours. Use slightly greased pans.
