CHERRY DESSERT 
36 Ritz crackers
3/4 cube of butter, melted
4 egg whites
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1 lb. 5 oz. can of Wilderness cherry filling
Chopped walnuts, if desired

Crush Ritz crackers and mix with melted butter to form a crust in a 7 x 11 inch pan. Beat 4 egg whites until stiff, gradually adding 2/3 cup of sugar and 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla. Spread the mixture over the cracker crust and bake in oven for 30 minutes at 300 degrees. Cool.

Spread 1 can of Wilderness cherry filling over the top. Top with whipped cream. You may save a few cherries for the top of the cream. Chopped walnuts may be added also. This makes a very pretty holiday or party dessert. Serves about 10.
