FISH CAKES 
1 lb. cod fish
1 egg
Vegetable oil
4 potatoes
Italian bread crumbs

Boil potatoes until soft; drain. Boil fish until flakey. Drain. Combine and add egg and cup of bread crumbs. Beat. Shape into patty. Fry lightly to add crisp outside. Eat cold or hot with a salad.
