MONKEY BREAD 
2 1/3 c. sugar, divided
1. tsp. cinnamon
3 or 4 tubes biscuits (10 count)
1 c. nuts (optional)
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Combine 2/3 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in a sack, cut biscuits in quarters and shake in bag. Put in greased tube pan a few at a time; add nuts. Mix butter, 1 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in a sauce pan and bring to a boil; boil to bubbly stage. Pour over biscuits after all have been put into the pan.

Bake at 325°F for 50 minutes. Tear apart to serve.
