WORLD FAMOUS POTATOES | |
6 Idaho potatoes (2 1/2 lbs.) 1/2 c. butter 3/4 c. water 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix Cut unpeeled potatoes into 1/4 inch slices. Melt butter in water, add dry onion soup mix. Layer potatoes and liquid into 2 quart casserole (ending with liquid). Bake covered in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Will keep in warm oven indefinitely. Very good the next day. |
