CRANBERRY-APPLE SALAD 
2 cans whole cranberry sauce
2 c. boiling water
2 pkgs. strawberry Jello
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. mayonnaise
2 c. diced apples
1/2 c. nuts

Melt cranberry sauce over medium heat. Drain and reserve liquid and berries. Mix together cranberry liquid, boiling water and Jello. Stir. Add salt and lemon juice; chill until mixture mounds on spoon. Add mayonnaise and beat until smooth Fold in cranberries, apples and nuts. Pour into molds or 2 quart dish. Chill overnight.

Serves 10 to 12.
