SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
3 lbs. ground beef
2 onions, chopped
3 (No. 2 1/2) cans tomatoes (large)
1 (No. 303) can tomatoes (smaller)
1 bunch celery, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
2 (4 oz.) cans mushrooms
3/4 tbsp. curry powder
3/4 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. red pepper
1/2 tbsp. paprika
1/2 tbsp. turmeric
1 tsp. salt

Fry ground beef and onions together. Combine them with all other ingredients (except spices) in large kettle. Let cook until celery is done but not mushy (about 2 hours). Add seasonings last half hour. Ten or fifteen minutes before serving, thicken with flour and water paste (5 or 6 tablespoons flour and 1/2 cup water). 10 servings.
