BAKED ONIONS | |
6-8 lg. onions, sliced 1/4 inch thick, separate into rings 3 c. grated Cheddar cheese 1 (8 oz.) pkg. crushed potato chips 1 can mushroom soup, diluted with 1/2 c. half & half or evaporated milk Parboil onions until just tender. Drain. In deep casserole, place in layers of 1/3 of the onions, cheese, and potato chips. Do this twice. For the third layer, place onions. Cover with diluted soup. Top with rest of cheese and potato chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until hot and bubbly. |
