SEAFOAM CANDY 
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
2/3 c. water
2 egg whites
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts (optional)

Boil sugar, corn syrup, and water together until it will form a hard ball when dropped in water. Beat egg whites and salt at speed 3 for 3 minutes in a large bowl. Pour syrup slowly into beaten egg whites while beating at speed 3. Continue beating until mixture passed the glossy state, add nuts and vanilla and continue beating until mixture forms a peak when beater is raised, pour on buttered platter or drop on wax paper.
