SAUCE FOR VEGETABLES 
1 c. sour cream
1/4 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. Tabasco pepper sauce

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and heat slowly; do not allow to boil. Spoon over vegetables when serving, or place vegetables in a casserole. Top with sauce, sprinkle with bread crumbs, and place under broiler until crumbs are brown, 1-2 minutes.

Ideal with cooked fresh asparagus, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower or green beans. Sauce will serve 4-6.
