GRANDMA TERRY'S PENUCHE 
2 tbsp. butter
2 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk or cream
Nuts

Melt butter in a pan. Add sugar, milk or cream. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Boil without stirring to the soft ball stage. Remove from fire. Leave undisturbed to cool. Beat or work like fudge or fondant. Add nuts; press in a buttered pan or mold.
