CZECHOSLOVAKIAN COOKIES 
1/2 lb. butter
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. finely chopped walnuts
2 egg yolks
1/2 c. strawberry jam

Grease 8 inch square cake pan.

Cream butter until soft, gradually add sugar, creaming until fluffy. Add egg yolks and blend well. Add flour, fold in nuts. Spoon 1/2 batter into pan. Top with jam and cover with remaining dough.

Bake 325 degrees for 1 hour until lightly brown. Cool and cut into bars.
