HOLIDAY SASQUASH DESSERT | |
1 pkg. yellow cake mix, set aside 1 c. dry cake mix 3/4 c. butter 4 eggs 1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can pumpkin 1/2 c. brown sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. cloves 1 tsp. ginger 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1/3 c. sugar Crust: Empty cake mix into bowl. Add only 1/2 cup of melted butter. Press into a 9 x 13 inch pan lightly greased. In another bowl, mix pumpkin, brown sugar, eggs, and spices. Beat together well, adding milk. Pour over unbaked crust. Topping: Mix reserved cup of cake mix with 1/4 cup butter (softened) and white sugar. Sprinkle mixture over top and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. |
