PORK CHOPS WITH RICE 
2 tbsp. Crisco
6 boneless pork chops
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. rice
3 1/2 c. chicken broth
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/2 c. green pepper, diced
1/2 c. onion, diced

Melt Crisco in large skillet. Brown chops on both sides. Remove from skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Drain off part of drippings. Brown rice in skillet. Stirring constantly, add remaining ingredients. Put in casserole, top with chops. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
