FROG EYES SALAD | |
1 c. acini de pepe macaroni 1 can chunky pineapple 2 c. mandarin oranges 3 eggs 1 c. small marshmallows 3 tbsp. flour 1 c. sugar 2 c. Cool Whip Boil macaronia in 2 1/2 cups salted water. Boil until water is gone. Drain the oranges and pineapple and place juice in pan. Thicken over heat with 3 eggs, 3 tablespoons flour and 1 cup sugar. Add the two mixtures together and let stand overnight. Next morning, add drained fruit, marshmallows and whipped cream. Hint: Put 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in macaronia as it boils so it won't stick together. |
