1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. confectioners' sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. Wesson oil
2 tsp. vanilla or lemon
4 c. plain flour & 4 tbsp.
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Mix butter and sugar well. Add eggs. Beat well and mix in Wesson oil and vanilla. Mix flour, soda and cream of tartar; add to sugar and oil mix. Roll into little balls and flatten with bottom of a gloss that's been dipped in sugar. Bake at 275-350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
