ORANGE FRUITCAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. dates
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. nuts

Put 1 jigger of wine in mix. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, flour and milk. Cook at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours until done.

TOPPING:

Juice from 2 oranges, plus grated rinds
1 c. sugar

Spread around cake while hot.
