1 pkg. of lady fingers Raspberry jam Birds or Jello custard powder A few almonds Sweet sherry Split the lady fingers and spread with raspberry jam and arrange in a deep bowl. Sprinkle with almonds (chopped or halved). Pour sweet sherry over, but don't soak, as you may wish to add a little sherry to the custard. Make custard and allow to cool. Then pour this over the lady fingers. It is best to make this the day before needed, then top with whipped cream next day and decorate. When serving, be sure to spoon to the bottom of the bowl. |
