PERFECT CORN BREAD | |
1 c. flour 1/4 c. sugar 4 tsp. baking powder 3/4 tsp. salt 1 c. corn meal 2 eggs 1 c. milk 1/4 c. shortening Sift together dry ingredients. Add eggs, milk and shortening. Beat with electric mixer until smooth. Pour batter into greased 9 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes. |
