MUSHROOM SPREAD 
8 slices bacon, fried crisp
1 (8 oz.) can chopped mushrooms
1 med. onion, finely chopped
1 med. garlic
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt & pepper
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. soy sauce
1/2 c. sour cream

Fry bacon crisp. Crumble. In 2 tablespoons bacon dripping saute onion, garlic and mushrooms (if fresh). Stir in flour, salt, pepper and cream cheese. Cook until melted. Do not boil. Add sour cream, bacon and rest of ingredients. Serve hot or cold, can be made ahead and reheated if desired. Can also be frozen.
