CHOCOLATE REVEL BARS 
1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. oatmeal
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped walnuts

BOTTOM: In large bowl cream together 1 cup butter and brown sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Stir in oats. Stir dry ingredients into creamed mixture until blended and set aside. Spread 2/3 in pan - remainder put on after chocolate. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

FILLING: In heavy saucepan over low heat, melt together condensed milk, chocolate chips, 2 tablespoons butter and salt, stirring until smooth. Stir in nuts and the remaining vanilla. Spread over dough. Dot remaining oat mixture over chocolate.
