DOT'S ANGEL BISCUITS 
5 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
2 c. buttermilk
2 tbsp. warm water
1 pkg. yeast
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
Melted butter

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening to dry ingredients. Add buttermilk and add dissolved yeast to dry ingredients.

Roll out on floured surface and cut in circles. Stretch circles into slight oval, dip in melted butter and fold in half and arrange in ungreased baking sheet.

Bake a 450 degrees for 10-12 minutes until brown.
